Novgorod rescuers and police officers revealed the secrets of the work of dog handlers in a children's camp

Recently, police officers and representatives of the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia arrived at the children's health and educational center "Olimpiets".
Police officers and young army members of the unit named after the first general of the Novgorod police V. A. Filimonenko held "Exercises with a law enforcement officer" for the children. The staff of the canine service center also prepared performances for the children. A Belgian shepherd named Brig showed the children how she can follow commands, search for objects using a person's scent trail, and even detain an armed criminal.

A representative of the expert-criminalistic center of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs told the children about her work and the methods that specialists use to search for traces of criminals at the scene of the crime.
Then the children watched the work of an unmanned aerial vehicle. During the event, the schoolchildren refreshed their memory of water safety rules, studied the basics of fire safety and learned about the design of a fire truck. In addition, the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate employees reminded them of the importance of following traffic rules.
