Rospotrebnadzor has achieved the suspension of operations of a catering facility in the Lugovoy Park area

Specialists from the regional office of Rospotrebnadzor identified a number of violations during an unscheduled inspection of a public catering establishment at 108a Bolshaya Sankt-Peterburgskaya Street.
Among the problems here, as reported by the department, is the lack of necessary technological and washing equipment, inventory for preparing culinary products, the lack of technological documents in accordance with which the products were manufactured, and the lack of monitoring of the health of workers.
In addition, experts further report that employees who had not undergone preliminary medical examinations were allowed to work at the catering facility. Also, the production premises at this address require repairs, cleaning and washing procedures for premises and equipment are violated, and there are no disinfectants.
"Food products and food raw materials are used without documents ensuring their traceability. There is no properly equipped toilet for staff, no conditions for separate storage of outerwear and sanitary clothing, no conditions for employees to comply with personal hygiene rules," other violations are reported.
Samples taken in laboratory conditions showed the presence of coliform bacteria - they were found in swabs from the wooden table of finished products, from the cutting board, from the oven handle, and also from plates.
Based on the violations identified, specialists from the Rospotrebnadzor Department drew up a protocol on a temporary ban on the activities of the public catering establishment. The materials of the administrative case were sent to the Novgorod District Court.
It is specified that the violations identified were confirmed during the trial. The enterprise's activities were suspended for 90 days.
