Stray dogs are being caught in Krasnogorodsk

In connection with complaints from residents in Krasnogorodsk, daily inspections have begun to identify animals without owners, the district administration reported.

All dogs roaming freely on the streets are considered stray and are sent to a shelter run by an animal protection organization. There, the animals are sterilized, tagged, and, if necessary, given to new owners.

Owners whose pets were caught wandering freely can contact the shelter to return the dog. However, this will require compensation for the costs of catching and keeping the animal.

The Krasnogorodsky District Administration calls on residents to take a responsible attitude towards their pets and not allow them to be outside unsupervised.
