MOSCOW, June 5 — RIA Novosti. The number of victims in the train crash in the Bryansk region has risen to 119, a representative of emergency services told RIA Novosti.

“As of 07:00 on Thursday, 126 people were injured in the explosion of a bridge in the Bryansk region, seven of them died,” the agency’s source said.
Emergency services added that there were five children among the victims.
On the night of June 1, a road bridge collapsed in the Vygonichsky District of the Bryansk Region. Its debris fell on passenger train No. 86 Klimov -Moscow passing underneath it, the locomotive and carriages derailed.
At about the same time, at the 48th kilometer of the Trosna-Kalinovka highway in the Zheleznogorsk district of the Kursk region, a bridge collapsed while a freight locomotive was traveling across it. Three train crew members were injured.
The Investigative Committee has opened criminal cases on three terrorist attacks on railway infrastructure. As the head of the department, Alexander Bastrykin, noted on Wednesday, the Ukrainian special services are behind the bridge explosions.
