The scale of overheating of the Russian economy in the fourth quarter of 2024 has not decreased, and economic growth could accelerate, follows from the summary of the discussion of the key rate of the Bank of Russia.

"The scale of economic overheating did not decrease in the fourth quarter. This is indicated by significantly increased inflationary pressure and continuing tension in the labor market," the Central Bank notes.

According to the regulator, economic growth could accelerate in the fourth quarter of 2024. The economy received an impetus for growth, including as a result of increased budget spending during this period.
