Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's initiative to prepare a meeting between the leaders of Russia and Ukraine to resolve the conflict involves traditional "telephone diplomacy," the Turkish leader's administration told RIA Novosti .
Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that after the meeting of the Ukrainian and Russian delegations in Istanbul , Turkey plans to put forward the idea of organizing a summit at the level of the countries' leaders. The Turkish leader did not rule out that Trump could also take part in a meeting between the presidents of Russia and Ukraine.
