The media reports that the editor-in-chief of the Sverdlovsk edition of Ura.ru Denis Allayarov and crime correspondent Sergei Bodrov have been detained; there is no contact with them. They were detained before the searches began in the Ura.ru office in Yekaterinburg.
As RBC Yekaterinburg writes, the investigative actions may be related to the funding of the publication in 2020 by the non-profit organization Alliance of Doctors (included in the register of foreign agents). According to other information, the security forces were displeased by the publication of information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports. The executive director of the publication, Mikhail Vyugin, said that he is currently out of town and is not aware of what is happening.
