"A powerful explosion is occurring on the Sun along the Sun-Earth axis. The maximum magnitude is not yet known," experts stated on the Telegram channel.
According to monitoring data, the flare's power has already exceeded the maximum X-class limit and continues to grow. Astronomers are recording a steady increase in the flare's intensity.
It was previously reported that the interstellar object 3I/ATLAS released strange jets as it approached the Sun.
