19 suspects captured in operation against terrorist organization PKK/KCK

In the investigation against the terrorist organization PKK/KCK by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Terror Crimes Investigation Bureau, 19 suspects operating in the so-called political youth structure of the organization were identified.

The prosecutor's office issued a detention order for the suspects who were determined to have hung banners and held illegal demonstrations in Beyoğlu, Bahçelievler and Sultanbeyli between February 10-15.

Upon this, security forces took action and conducted operations at addresses in 12 districts of Istanbul, as well as in Ankara, Kars, Afyonkarahisar and Kırklareli. All of the suspects were caught in the operation.

Banned publications, organizational documents and a large number of digital materials were seized during searches at the suspects' addresses.
