3.9 magnitude earthquake in Erzurum

According to the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) data, an earthquake measuring 3.9 on the Richter scale occurred at 01.23 with its epicenter in the Köprüköy district of Erzurum.

The earthquake, recorded at a depth of 6.89 kilometers, was felt in Köprüköy and surrounding districts. The earthquake, which caused brief panic, did not cause any adverse effects.

A 4.1 magnitude earthquake also occurred in the city at 16:58. This earthquake, recorded at a depth of 6.92 kilometers, also caused concern, but no negative effects were experienced.
