4.1 magnitude earthquake in Sındırgı

The Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) announced that a 4.1 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Sındırgı district of Balıkesir.

The tremor occurred at a depth of 6.98 kilometers.

AFAD announced that the earthquake occurred at around 14:16.

A 6.1 magnitude earthquake struck Sındırgı on August 10. Experts had warned that aftershocks could continue for a long time.
