An argument that started because someone honked their horn in traffic turned into a war

An argument that started in traffic in the Yancıkçı Şahin Neighborhood of Edirne quickly grew into a war in the middle of the street. Knives, sticks, chairs and stones flew in the air in the fight that broke out between two groups that had previous hostility between them. 5 people were injured in the incident and 10 people were detained.

STICK, KNIFE, KICK, PUNCH… Two drivers who met on Şeyh Çelebi Mezarlık Street in the evening hours allegedly started arguing because of honking. The tension that started verbally turned into a fight within minutes.

The two sides attacked each other with knives, sticks, kicks and punches. During the fight, surrounding objects were also used as weapons.

Upon notification, a large number of police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Police teams separated the angry crowd with difficulty. In the ensuing fight, 5 people were injured, two of whom were stabbed. The injured were taken to Trakya University Medical Faculty Hospital by medical teams and treated.

10 DETENTION

Police teams detained 10 people in connection with the incident. The fight was captured second by second on security cameras and mobile phone footage in the area.

An investigation has been launched regarding the incident.
