Çelik's reaction to Özgür Özel
AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik made a statement at the AK Party Headquarters. Çelik said the following about CHP Chairman Özel: "I would like to put this on record for our valuable citizens who support the CHP, they are commenting by saying I heard it from this person and that person. This frivolity, this incapacity and unfortunately this weakness in producing politics cannot be remedied. CHP has a management problem."

As we know very well, since CHP has never been able to get a visa from the people, it has two options. One is to find a political path for itself by interfering with the politics of the Turkish Armed Forces and creating chaos. The second issue was to create chaos by interfering with the judiciary and acting as a cadre. We thought that a certain point had been reached by discussing these issues. Our President was talking about transforming the opposition, and they introduced this as designing the opposition. This political party, which represents the Yassıada mentality, had started to learn to respect democratic processes as a result of the great transformations that had been carried out. In this great democratic transformation led by our President, they are also transforming and trying to give place to the girls, whom they had not allowed to enter schools in the past, in their own party. This is transformation.
"CHP IS TRYING TO COVER UP ITS PROBLEMS WITH SPECULATIONS"The chairman of a political party makes comments saying 'I heard it from this person, I heard it from that person'. This frivolity, this informality, this incapacity for democracy unfortunately cannot be eliminated. A management problem in the CHP is constantly being tried to be covered up with such speculations. The CHP constantly has a wrong political software whose immune system is weakened regarding democracy. From time to time we read that some commanders are targeted by giving their names. We know that this is targeted by countries that are hostile to Turkey. We know that they spread some black propaganda within the scope of the operations carried out in the Aegean, Libya and Syria. When Özgür Özel comes out and takes such an attitude, it is a normal approach in terms of their mentality, the Yassıada mentality, but it is a problematic approach in terms of democracy. This is completely antidemocratic, completely not understanding what civilian politics is. It is really extremely sad to even explain that you cannot speak in a gossip-based manner at the command level.
When we look at the military activities around us, while the armed forces should be kept out of all discussions, the statement targeting the armed forces comes from the CHP Chairman. Whoever targets state institutions unjustly and without any basis will find us in front of them. Those who want to make political attacks are welcome to do so, we are here, we will respond to this. While the apple of the nation's eye is fulfilling his duty in accordance with the constitution, laws and the will of the nation, and signing certain operations to protect the rights and interests of Turkey upon the instructions of our Commander-in-Chief President, it is unthinkable that this is targeted in any way by the chairman of a political party. If Mr. Özgür Özel wants to put himself in the same category as certain politicians in countries that create hostility and competition towards Turkey, it is his own business, we will never allow this. We convey our love and wishes of success to our armed forces, which are appreciated by everyone with their superior discipline and the virtue of military art in the Mediterranean, the Aegean and everywhere in the world, from Libya to Syria.
"WE SEE THAT POLITICAL MIND IS NOT COMING DOWN IN CHP"Mr. Özgür Özel calls the People's Alliance a conscience that is suspended against our President. As Mr. Bahçeli always does with great sensitivity before Ramadan, he makes some statements against the campaign in order to demonstrate unity and solidarity among our citizens. Look at the issues around us, all members of the People's Alliance are making every effort to keep political conscience and political principles at the highest level in the TBMM and other places. All our friends have become the most important spokespeople of this political conscience in the world and on all the platforms they are on. When he says conscience that is suspended, we see Özgür Özel covering up something else. We see that the political mind that is suspended in the CHP never comes down from the suspension. We really have friends in the CHP who are extremely sensitive about political conscience and other principles. We respect and appreciate the will they have shown on other platforms. We will continue the will against the external front in terms of the internal front. If he is caught by keeping something suspended, he should address the issue within the framework of these statements, which have brought everyone's patience to the point of wearing out the issue of political reasoning that was suspended during Mr. Özel's term.
Political drifts lack political foresight and sensitivity. We find this situation strange because we evaluate the qualities and capacity of Turkish politics as a quality opposition in terms of the future of democracy. We see unfounded allegations against our President and the People's Alliance every day by Mr. Özgür Özel in order to close the intra-party discussions and to cover up the issues he cannot manage within the party. There is only one thing he can do; he should focus on managing the CHP. A management tailor without political navigation is being put forward. It is important for them to get out of this structure in terms of the future of politics and quality opposition. The most important issue they need to deal with is the suspicious congress agenda in the CHP. When we look closely at this agenda, we see that the biggest claimants are actually the previous party leader Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu, some mayors and deputies. Mr. Özel needs to manage this issue and bring it to light. We want the truth to come to light here. It is important in terms of the quality of civil politics and revealing the moral standard.
"HE IS TRYING TO CAST A SHADOW ON OUR BRILLIANT CONGRESS"
He has been talking about the gift given to our delegates. It is a political tradition, such gifts are given at congresses and anniversaries of the establishment of parties. Here I see that Mr. Özel has made a new addition to his lack of command over literature. We only asked a question about the congress issue. But those who directly make allegations. Mr. Özgür Özel needs to go back and say something there. He cannot produce anything on that issue, he thinks that he will cast a shadow on our congress, which we call the first great congress of the Turkish Century, which is in accordance with political traditions and rules. The issue he should be dealing with is not our congress, which was held brilliantly in every respect, but he should respond to the allegations made by the previous party chairman, deputies and mayors. Let them manage this political current deficit, and then let their words regarding Türkiye and regional issues be put on the agenda.
