Efforts are underway to find the private jet that crashed on the Bayburt-Rize-Erzurum border

In a statement made by the Rize Governorship, it was stated that "It has been learned that a private jet plane crashed on the Bayburt-Rize-Erzurum border line for an unknown reason."

The statement emphasized that AFAD, police, gendarmerie, 112 Emergency Health, UMKE and relevant teams were dispatched to the region, and that search and rescue activities continue intensively and that developments will be shared with the public.

On the other hand, it was learned that the TC-RTO registered aircraft, which took off from Eskişehir Sivrihisar, was flying within the scope of amateur aviation activity and its destination was Rize-Artvin Airport.

In the statement made by the Bayburt Governorship, it was stated that AFAD, police, gendarmerie, 112, UMKE and relevant teams were dispatched to the region upon the report reaching the 112 Emergency Call Center.
