Efkan Ala: On July 15, they tried to Syrianize Türkiye

AK Party Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala made a statement on the ninth anniversary of the bloody coup attempt carried out by FETÖ on July 15, 2016.

"The real goal of the mindset that used these was to Syrianize Turkey ," said Ala, adding, "Turkey had begun to shine like a star. Therefore, they devised a plan to prevent this, and it turned out that way."

"IT IS NECESSARY TO BE ON WATCHT"

Recalling the FETÖ operations that took place today, Ala said, "We need to be vigilant. It is impossible for organizations with foreign roots to disappear overnight. The goals set by those who use them have not disappeared."

"THEY FELL AGAINST EACH OTHER"

Stating that significant progress has been made in the fight against FETÖ, Ala said, "They fell out with each other after the death of their leader. In cell-type organizations, some cells continue to exist. That's why Türkiye is seriously managing these processes."

"WE ARE ALL ONE HEART"

Efkan Ala, emphasizing that Türkiye was pulled back from the brink of a cliff on the night of July 15th, said, "We are always of one heart. We are the heirs of a great civilization. When the time comes, we say, either the state prevails or the raven carrion."

"They attacked the Parliament, they attacked the Presidential Complex. They attacked the very heart of the system," said Efkan Ala, continuing:

"They attempted to completely destroy Turkey. These are tools of foreign intelligence agencies. They were exposed with evidence and proof. All of this began after 'One Minute.' We must be much more vigilant. Significant events are taking place on our border. There is currently a major genocide taking place in Gaza. They are constantly working to deepen instability in Syria and Iraq. We have always said that we must strengthen our domestic front."
