Heartbreaking incident! He fell on the icy road and lost his life
The incident occurred yesterday on Atatürk Boulevard in Çay Mahallesi. Walking on snow and ice, 97-year-old Ahmet Gedik lost his balance and fell to the ground. Gedik tried to recover for a while due to the shock of the fall. Citizens who saw the incident reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Health teams.
The teams arriving at the scene gave first aid to the elderly man who had fallen to the ground and then took him to Çaycuma State Hospital by ambulance. It was learned that despite all interventions, the elderly man died in the hospital due to brain trauma.
