Horrific incident in Kocaeli: Father commits suicide after accidentally shooting his daughter!
In the incident, which took place in the Atatürk Neighborhood of the Çayırova district of Kocaeli, Muzaffer Yıldız (60) started arguing with his family at home for an as yet unknown reason. As the argument quickly escalated, gunshots rang out from the house.
According to reports, during the argument, Muzaffer Yıldız pulled out a gun he was carrying and fired it. The gun accidentally discharged, leaving his daughter, Meltem Yıldız, seriously injured in the abdomen. Seeing his daughter collapse to the ground covered in blood, Yıldız's father panicked.
He shot himself with a gunImmediately after the incident, Muzaffer Yıldız turned the same gun on himself and pulled the trigger, committing suicide. Residents of the house heard the gunshots and immediately reported the incident to the police and paramedics. Police and paramedics arrived at the scene and administered first aid to the seriously injured father and daughter. Father Muzaffer Yıldız was taken to a private hospital in Gebze, while daughter Meltem Yıldız was taken to Gebze Fatih State Hospital.
