Jellyfish invaded Sarıyer beach! Thousands of them washed up on the shore

Thousands of jellyfish washed ashore in Sarıyer, Istanbul , following the snowfall.

Following the heavy snowfall in Istanbul, thousands of jellyfish washed ashore from Sarıyer to Büyükdere. It was observed that the jellyfish were especially concentrated in the area from Sarıyer center to Büyükdere. On the other hand, the foaming in the sea also drew attention.

"I HAVE NEVER SEEN A YEAR WITHOUT JELLYFISH"

Şadan Yeşilbaş, who said that there are jellyfish in Sarıyer every year, said, "I was surprised when I saw the jellyfish. In previous years, there were bigger and more jellyfish here. This time, smaller ones have come. They may have come to the shore in such numbers due to sea pollution. There are usually such images here every year. I have never seen a year without jellyfish."
