Operation against 8 organized crime groups! Numerous detention orders

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, in a statement he made on his social media account, stated that the gendarmerie carried out operations against 8 separate organized crime groups in two weeks, led by SY and B.A in Istanbul, A.Y in Diyarbakır, S.Ö in Antalya, A.K in İzmir, O.K in Balıkesir, C.Ü in Tekirdağ and F.D in Gaziantep.
Stating that 63 suspects were caught in the operations, 48 of them were arrested, judicial control decisions were issued for 11 of them, Yerlikaya stated that the procedures for the others were continuing.
Yerlikaya noted the following:
"As a result of the work carried out by the provincial gendarmerie commands under the coordination of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the Gendarmerie General Command KOM Department, in operations conducted in 7 provinces, namely Istanbul, Diyarbakır, Antalya, İzmir, Balıkesir, Tekirdağ and Gaziantep, investigations were launched by our prosecutors' offices against the suspects who are members of organized crime organizations for the purpose of establishing an organization to commit a crime, manufacturing and trafficking in narcotics, violation of Law No. 6136, attempted deliberate murder and deliberate wounding, migrant smuggling, qualified plunder, qualified fraud, armed threat, attempting to enable the escape of a convict, detainee or detainee, endangering public security, bribery, damaging property and assuming responsibility for a crime."
Stating that 9 unlicensed guns, 392 kilograms of powdered cannabis, narcotic substances and their use devices, 5 checks or promissory notes worth 28 million liras and many mobile phones, memory sticks, documents, cutting and piercing tools were seized during the operations, Yerlikaya congratulated the gendarmerie teams.
