President Erdogan had a telephone conversation with Serbian President Vucic

According to the statement made by the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, bilateral relations between Türkiye and Serbia, regional and global issues were discussed during the meeting.
President Erdoğan stated that the friendship and solidarity between the two countries is getting stronger, that Turkey wishes for a new government to be established in Serbia as soon as possible and for peace and stability to be maintained, and that they will continue to develop bilateral relations with the new government that will be formed.
Erdoğan stated that the joint efforts to increase cooperation areas between the two countries, especially in the defense industry, are expected to bear fruit in the near future.
President Erdoğan expressed his sorrow for Vucic's accident with his official car on February 8 and wished him a speedy recovery.
Serbian President Vucic also congratulated President Erdoğan on his birthday.
