Questionable congress investigation from CHP! Lütfü Savaş gave statement

Savaş left the Ankara Courthouse after giving his statement as a witness to the public prosecutor conducting the investigation.
Savaş's lawyer, Onur Yusuf Üregen, told members of the press in front of the courthouse that his client came to testify upon the invitation of the prosecutor's office due to his respect for the law and the legal process.
Üregen said, "Distorting legal processes and misleading the public harms judicial independence and democratic values. In line with our belief in democracy, the rule of law and political ethics, we continue our legal initiatives to ensure that the process is carried out fairly and transparently in all its aspects."
Üregen, who stated that his client filed a new criminal complaint with the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, alleging irregularities and the impairment of the will of the delegates at the CHP's 38th Ordinary Congress, claimed that false information was given in the news reports made by some journalists during the congress, that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu had withdrawn his candidacy, and that psychological pressure was exerted on the delegates , thus enabling manipulation of the election process.
Lawyer Üregen continued his words as follows: "According to article 47 of the Republican People's Party's bylaws, if a second meeting is held due to the failure to reach a majority in the first meeting, the time between the two meetings must be at least three hours. However, without paying attention to this time period, the delegates were pressured within an hour after the first meeting ended and the second meeting was started very quickly. This situation is clearly contrary to article 47 of the party's bylaws and is also clearly understood from the congress video. This issue alone clearly shows that the will of the delegates was corrupted during the congress process.
My client heard that the chairman of the congress put pressure on the delegates by saying that the votes with the marks on them were 'invalid' before the election, that he manipulated the election results by putting marks on the ballots in order to have the votes given to Kılıçdaroğlu invalidated, that there were actual interventions during the voting, and that the people who counted the ballots acted unlawfully."
Üregen stated that they will follow the process until the end in order to reveal the unlawfulness and protect the democratic processes.
