MEANING OF ALAK SURAH

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Read! In the name of your Lord who created.

He created man from an embryo.

Read! Your Lord is the Most Generous.

He is the one who taught me to write with a pen.

He taught man what he did not know.

No! Rather, man is defiant.

Because he sees himself as independent (not needing Allah).

But to your Lord is the return.

Have you seen anyone who prevents a servant from praying?

Have you seen anyone preventing that servant from praying?

What do you say, what if he's on the right track?

Or what if it commands us to beware of disobedience to Allah?

What do you say, what if he lied and turned away?

Doesn't he know that Allah sees him?

No! If he does not desist, we will seize him by the forelock.

By the lying, sinful forelock!

Let him call his council!

We will also call the demons.

No! Do not obey him, but prostrate yourself and draw near to Allah.

COMMENTARY OF ALAK SURAH
