TBMM Speaker Kurtulmuş: Turkey's reputation will be our passwords in the new era

A conference titled " Global System Search and Turkey " was held in Istanbul. Speaking at the conference, TBMM Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş underlined that problems such as mass migration movements, environmental problems, wars, and internal conflicts were being experienced worldwide and that all continents were experiencing tensions. Stating that all these problems stemmed from the patronage of a few countries and that this system had become almost inoperable, and that therefore a multipolar global system would be adopted, Kurtulmuş spoke about the active role that Turkey would play in the multipolar global system.
''Türkiye WILL BE AN EXTRAORDINARY IMPORTANT COUNTRY WITH ITS INCREASING RESPECT IN THE INTERNATIONAL ARENA''
Established, ''We can only predict how the new global system will take shape and what struggles it will be the scene of today with predictions. It is obvious that multipolarity will have a very strong impact on the upcoming period in many different parts of the world, apart from important centers such as America, Russia, China and the European Union, new regions and new countries. If you ask me to name 5-6 countries, I can name them. One of these countries is undoubtedly Turkey. With God's permission, the multipolar world system that will develop in the upcoming period will be an extraordinarily important country in terms of Turkey's unique cultural structure, multiple strategic location and characteristics, as well as its increasing prestige in the international arena, especially in recent years.''
"THE ATTITUDE TOWARDS TURKEY AND THE REPUTATION TURKEY HAS WILL BE OUR CODES IN THE NEW PERIOD"
Underlining that Turkey's policies, bureaucracy and activities implemented in the international arena have made Turkey known in the world and that its stance has been a guide in many crises, Kurtulmuş said, ''The fact that all the deputies in the Japanese House of Representatives stood up and applauded the Turkish delegation for minutes is a clear indicator of Turkey's reputation. Turkey's stance has been evident since the beginning of this crisis, most recently regarding the war between Russia and Ukraine. Whatever the solution, those who support both sides know very well that this solution cannot be without Turkey, and that it is not possible to direct a process that Turkey is not involved in. Similarly, everyone is undoubtedly curious about what Turkey will say about the new administration that emerged after the collapse of the 61-year Baath regime in Syria and how the new Syria will develop. "The heads of state who come to Turkey every day and visit our president, the speakers of parliament who also visit us, the ministers of the relevant countries who visit our Minister of Foreign Affairs and other ministers, or the attitude towards Turkey and the reputation that Turkey has in our overseas visits, truly reveal the codes of the new period for all of us," he said.
''ALL THE SCREWS OF THE CURRENT WORLD SYSTEM HAVE BEEN LOOSEN, ALL ITS GEGS HAVE STARTED TO TURN IN REVERSE''
Speaking about Israel's attacks on Gaza, Kurtulmuş said, ''We need a new and fair system. The reason for this is the genocide that Israel has been carrying out in Gaza for over a year and a half. We hope that with the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, we will enter a period in which the people of Gaza will live in peace and tranquility. However, during this period of one and a half years, so to speak, all the screws of the current world system have loosened, and all the wheels of the world system have started to turn in reverse. First of all, the world system has entered a period in which it has no fundamental principles, and all issues such as human rights, people's survival, the sovereign equality of countries or the independence of peoples have come to a point where they cannot be respected, and all these fundamental principles written in the United Nations agreements, human rights declarations and the Helsinki Agreement have become equal with the truth.''
The conference was attended by the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş, the Governor of Istanbul, Davut Gül, academics, some NGO representatives and students.
