Critical meeting in Istanbul has begun

The Russian and Ukrainian delegations are meeting once again in Istanbul, hosted by Türkiye. The critical meeting held at the Çırağan Palace is being closely followed by local and foreign press members. The meeting between the Turkish-Russian-Ukrainian delegations will be held under the chairmanship of Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. Chief of General Staff General Metin Gürak and MIT Director İbrahim Kalın are also attending the meeting. Also present at the critical meeting are Russian Vice President Vladimir Medinsky, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Aleksandr Fomin, Russian Federation Chief of the Russian Intelligence Service (GRU) Igor Kostyukov from the Russian delegation, and Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, Ukrainian First Deputy Foreign Minister Sergiy Kyslytsya, Ukrainian Security Service Deputy Director Oleksandr Poklad, and Ukrainian Foreign Intelligence Service First Deputy Director Oleh Luhovskyi from the Ukrainian delegation. The meeting, which is being followed around the world, began at around 15:00.
