Expropriation decision for TPAO's field in Istanbul

The decision regarding the expropriation by the General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs (MAPEG) of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources was published in the Official Gazette.

Accordingly, MAPEG, which examined TPAO’s application, decided to expropriate 1873.24 square meters of the various parcels that are necessary for the natural gas pipeline facility between Fevzipaşa-1-2 and Çanta-1 wells in Istanbul, but which cannot be purchased through agreement because the land owner demands a price above the market rate and on which there is an urgent seizure decision.
