Minister Işıkhan: We facilitated 1,166,000 job placements in 9 months

Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan emphasized that employment capacity has increased with the strengthening of labor markets, saying, "We took important steps between January and September through our public employment agency, İŞKUR."

According to the announced data, İŞKUR held 2,462,549 individual meetings and visited 677,163 workplaces in the first nine months of the year.

During this period, 1,829,831 open positions were identified in line with employers' requests. 1,166,562 job placements were facilitated.

According to other information in the infographic shared by Minister Işıkhan, during the same period, 1,917,010 people received individual consultancy services. 63,451 people benefited from active workforce programs. 51,245 people benefited from job clubs. 17,867 educational institutions were visited.

Işıkhan expressed his belief that the Medium Term Program (MTP) targets, which include policies on the economy and employment, will be achieved with these steps, and stated that the work will continue with determination.
