They were attacked by relatives after their wedding! Grandmother and her two grandchildren were murdered

The incident occurred late at night in the village of Köroğlu, in the central Zonguldak district. An argument broke out in the village about a month ago, in which Halil Can and his brother, Emirkan Köroğlu, allegedly assaulted their relative, EK. This led to a feud between the two families. Last night, the Köroğlu brothers attended a relative's wedding held outdoors in the village, and Erdeniz K., the older brother of the victim, confronted them. Erdeniz K. attacked the two brothers with a knife he had taken from his home. Nazmiye Köroğlu, the grandmother who tried to protect her grandchildren, was also stabbed.

As the attacker, Erdeniz K., fled the scene, his two siblings and their grandmother collapsed, covered in blood. Bystanders alerted the 112 Emergency Call Center, and gendarmerie and paramedics were dispatched to the scene. However, relatives, unable to wait for an ambulance, took the injured to the road in their private vehicles. Paramedics encountered along the way transported the injured to Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Hospital and Atatürk State Hospital. Police took security measures in and around the hospital.

Despite efforts at hospitals, the injured could not be saved. Relatives who received news of the death suffered a nervous breakdown in front of Atatürk State Hospital, deeply grieving.

Erdeniz K., the suspect in the attack that killed the grandmother and two grandchildren, was apprehended and detained by the gendarmerie. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
