After Discord and Roblox, another platform was blocked: It was one of the most used chat applications.

Access to Azar, a video chat app, has been blocked by court order. Access to the azarlive.com domain has been suspended by the Ankara 4th Criminal Court of Peace, with a decision numbered 2025/8885 D. İş, dated August 22, 2025.
While no official statement has been made regarding the reason for the decision, users of the application cannot access the platform throughout Türkiye.
The blocking of access to the video chat app Azar has brought to mind the issues previously blocked by these apps. Turkey blocked access to the US-based communication platform Discord on October 9th.
Access to Roblox, a popular digital game used by children, was blocked on August 7, 2024. Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç stated that the decision was made because it "contains content that could lead to the exploitation of children."
