3 songs from London Morning to boost your playlist

London Morning's associate producer, Ryan Soulliere, listens to a lot of music for his role, picking tunes for the show. In any given week, that's about 25 songs. Here are his top three local and Canadian picks from last week.
Classik and Karmawin - My Joker WayMy Joker Ways is a mellow rap track about letting life's problems, big and small, roll off of you while keeping a smile on your face. My Joker Ways makes for a great weekend daystarter or for when it's time to relax.
Dayna Manning - Better DaysDayna Manning's latest single Better Days is a good reminder that all things pass and to maintain faith during dark times. Better Days is a bright sounding, guitar-driven song with horns and harmonies. It's a great mood lifter both musically and lyrically.
Angelique Francis - We're OverOttawa's Angelique Francis won the Juno award in 2023 for blues album of the year, and released a new album called Not Defeated this summer. From it, the song We're Over is a masterful, moody, blues tune with jazzy trumpets. It has an 'old school' effect off the top that gives it truly aged sound. Complete with smooth layered upright bass, We're Over makes a great song for relaxing. Angelique Francis is in concert at Aeolian Hall Saturday tonight.
