3 songs from London Morning to boost your playlist

London Morning's associate producer, Ryan Soulliere, listens to a lot of music for his role, picking tunes for the show. In any given week, that's about 25 songs. Here are his top three local and Canadian picks from last week.
The East Pointers - Misty MorningMake room for a very interesting-sounding song that will put some spring in your step. The lead and title track of The East Pointers' latest album, Misty Morning, is lively with a sonic pallet that will have you leaning in as you try to make out the unique, yet also familiar, instrumentation.
There is something in there tickling the eardrums beneath the standard guitar and fiddle you'd expect from The East Pointers. Maybe it's jaw-harp, maybe it's a keyboard? Either way, it makes Misty Morning a perfect track for lifting your mood or digging into weekend chores.
Oh, Berlin - Don't Call Me Baby (Tonight)Oh, Berlin is musical moniker for London's Ben Heffernan. Oh, Berlin's latest single Don't Call Me Baby (Tonight) is a little pop, a little post-new wave and a little contemporary.
Don't Call ME baby (Tonight) is very easy on the ears and demonstrates Heffernan's writing and vocal prowess. Try this one on a variety of playlists from unwinding to enjoying time with friends and family.
Reuben and The Bullhorn Singers - PowerfulA chance performance at The 2019 Calgary Stampede brought indie rockers Reuben and The Dark together with award-winning powwow performers The Bullhorn Singers. The blend of these two genres makes for some interesting music that stands out.
The two groups are touring together in support of a new album, All These Roads, due out mid-May. From it, London Morning played Powerful, which sounds powerful. This song swells with energy and is ideal for lifting your mood and giving you some inspiration.
