The same block in Chicago was the scene of a mass shooting in November 2022.
At that time, Artis Restaurant and Lounge was known as Hush Lounge.
One person was killed in the shooting and three others injured after a fight broke out involving people who had been kicked out of the club.
Police shut down the nightclub and Artis then opened in the same location.
Chris King, spokesperson for Northwestern Medicine, said the emergency department was evaluating several people injured in the shooting.
He did not provide the number of people sent to the hospital or their conditions.

A city official confirmed 19 people were shot in the drive-by, the outlet said.
