Trump faces furious backlash from diehard fans on Truth Social for unhinged AI video

Donald Trump has disturbed his fans on Truth Social by posting a bizarre AI generated video depicting Gaza as a beach resort with a golden statue of his likeness in the back - proving that even MAGA’s most loyal followers have their limits.
The eerie clip begins with a scene of a child running through rubble. It then shows the bombed territory transformed, wiped clean of all traces of Palestinian culture, and instead replaced by a holiday resort, filled with Trump merchandise and hotels bearing his name.
Some of the video’s more perturbing moments include a scene in which Trump and the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu relax in their swimming trunks by the pool and sip on cocktails, as well as Elon Musk being showered with money after eating a bowl of hummus.
The 78-year-old shared the footage with his Truth Social followers with the caption “Gaza 2025 … what’s next?” The clip has now gained over a million views. In response, fans of the controversial US president have been quick to point out the inappropriate video. “I have the upmost respect for you sir but this video is wrong,” writes one Truth Social user. “I could not be a bigger supporter of President Trump but this particular video is in very poor taste. Very poor taste, indeed!” another wrote.
The clip's insensitivity has also been highlighted by viewers, as it depicts Gaza as a hotel resort after over 45,000 Palestinians have been reported dead since the onslaught of the Israel-Hamas war. Amnesty International has also accused Israel of committing a genocide against the Palestinians.
Some even calling for his communications team to be laid off: "Whoever on your communication's team approved this to be released tonight, should be strongly re-evaluated for their skills in strategy/approach. I am a true fan of DJT, but I find this very insensitive to be released on a very sad day like today; the funeral for the beautiful Bibas family (mom and two children) who were killed in Gaza."
Part of the video features a giant gold statue of the president being erected in the heart of the city. This has proved offensive to some of his more religious audience. “This feels all wrong and actually makes me sick. I have supported you since Day 1 but this is filth. There is no God in this," one wrote.
Others were shocked by the display of non-conservative values in the video, including non gender-conforming dancers and the implication of infidelity. One wrote, “bearded belly dancers; you dancing with someone other than your wife; this was weird for me and I love you Trump - This should be deleted; not good.”
The creator of the video is still unknown, as it has been previously shared by other accounts not affiliated with the White House.
