Apple just announced three products with one very big upgrade - here's what's new

It was only last month that Apple unleashed its latest iPhones, AirPods and Apple Watch wearables. Now the US technology giant is back with three more devices to tickle your tech taste buds. The latest releases include a refreshed MacBook Pro, new iPad Pro models and an upgraded Vision Pro headset.
Although there are no changes to the way these gadgets look, all get a new Apple-made M5 processor under their shells, which offers a serious boost in performance and efficiency.
In fact, things are so good, the new 14-inch MacBook Pro now lasts for up to 24 hours without needing a refill. The M5 chip also improves the AI capabilities across all of these products and makes tasks such as video editing, gaming and image retouching even more seamless.
Other extras include better connectivity when using the iPad away from Wi-Fi. That's thanks to a new C1X modem that delivers up to 50% faster cellular data performance than its predecessor. This tablet, which is available in 11 and 13-inch sizes, also features a stunning slimline design, impressive cameras and an Ultra Retina XDR display that's bright and packed with pixels.
If it's a laptop you are after, then the MacBook Pro now comes with 16GB of RAM as standard, gets stereo speakers, a clever Centre Stage camera and a premium design. The battery can be fast-charged, and it's built for the future thanks to a Neural Accelerator in each core that delivers up to 3.5x faster AI performance than M4, and up to 6x faster performance than M1
Finally, there's that new M5-powered Vision Pro, which offers an improved virtual experience thanks to the extra power.
"M5 provides an even faster, smoother, and more responsive experience for Apple Vision Pro users, while introducing new opportunities for developers to create more advanced spatial and immersive experiences," Apple explained
With M5, Apple Vision Pro renders 10% more pixels on the custom micro-OLED displays compared to the previous generation, resulting in a sharper image with crisper text and more detailed visuals.
Vision Pro can also increase the refresh rate up to 120Hz for reduced motion blur when users look at their physical surroundings, and an even smoother experience when using Mac Virtual Display.
It's not just about the chip. Apple has also refreshed the strap to make it more comfortable to wear for long periods.
"The Dual Knit Band delivers an even more comfortable fit for users. It features upper and lower straps that are 3D-knitted as a single piece to create a unique dual-rib structure that provides cushioning, breathability, and stretch," Apple confirmed.
