New version of the CIS and the launch of the CIS Economic Trends at the European Economic Congress

- The first day of the 17th European Economic Congress in Katowice was summed up by the ceremonial WNP Gala, during which we presented a completely new version of the WNP portal.
- The new WNP website offers, as always, reliable, expert content presented in a modern, intuitive and multimedia way.
- During the WNP Gala, we also announced the launch of a new initiative of the PTWP Group - WNP Economic Trends, which will feature in-depth, expert analyses and industry reports.
- The 17th European Economic Congress in Katowice takes place this year on 23-25 April. It is the most important economic event of the year in this part of the world.
The WNP portal turns 25 this year. This is a great opportunity to change for the better.
- 25 years on the Internet is a long time, because the history of Internet journalism in Poland is not much longer. Over the past quarter of a century, the WNP.PL portal has transformed from a sector service, strongly focused on traditional branches of industry, into one of the most read nationwide economic services, describing the entire spectrum of the Polish economy . Since 2000, we have been providing the latest and most important information for business every day, and we will continue this mission. Now... in a completely new version - said Aleksandra Helbin, editor-in-chief of WNP .
In order to ensure the comfort and expectations of a wide range of recipients, the WNP editorial team decided to introduce changes to the portal, which include both a modern, light and transparent design, as well as the expansion of functionality, including the introduction of new, multimedia content and a refreshed newsletter , which premiered in March this year.
New CIS: Refreshed main category structure highlights expert contentThe new version of the service has been designed with intuitive navigation in mind - both in the desktop and mobile versions. Keeping up with the times, support for dark mode has been implemented.
It has been adapted to the changed structure of the main categories and thematic websites in order to highlight our own expert content to the greatest extent possible .
The editors have chosen to highlight the quotations of indices and listed companies to which the articles are devoted.
The changes also covered the search area - in addition to the standard Google tool, proprietary solutions were implemented to improve the search for topics, quotations, companies and people.
A new feature is the WNP.TV section, which aggregates multimedia materials created by the site's editorial team on external platforms (YouTube, Spotify).
New CIS: Logo and Colors Symbolize Service ValuesAn integral element of the changes is the new WNP logo, which symbolizes: Credibility , Modernity and Future . The symbolic dot in the logotype emphasizes attention to detail and creating content always on point, and the subdued colors - a transition from intense red to classic black - clearly separates the brand from the style of alerts and information noise.
In times of growing disinformation , the editorial team consciously focuses on reliability, expert commentary and in-depth analysis, emphasizing that the essence of journalism is not shouting, but precise and verified information .
- Energy, security, industry, technology, markets, construction and logistics - these are currently the most important economic areas. And these are the main thematic categories of the CIS. However, we do not forget about our strong, industry-specific sides, which is why we will continue to provide the most extensive information about energy, transformation and infrastructure. Because this is the DNA of the portal . We have packed everything in a modern graphic layout, enriched with stock market data valuable for every investor, with new multimedia elements. And finally - the most symbolic change. A new logo, which is a modification of the previous one, but shows the direction in which the CIS is evolving. Expertise without sensationalism and embellishment of reality - listed Aleksandra Helbin, emphasizing that changes are evolution, not revolution.
We have had one goal for years: to be the first-choice media in the Polish economy. That is why the DNA of WNP, i.e. professional journalism, news and reliability, does not change - sums up Aleksandra Helbin, editor-in-chief of WNP.
The new version of the website includes not only visual changes, but also a strong emphasis on professional knowledge, presented in the form of carefully prepared analyses, interviews, comments and reports that help understand the mechanisms that shape the Polish and global economy.
New initiative of the PTWP Group: the launch of the WNP Economic Trends websiteAnother novelty is WNP Economic Trends - an initiative that opens a new chapter in the activities of the PTWP Group and is a natural step towards further, consistent development.
WNP Economic Trends is a platform combining knowledge, expert experience and a fresh perspective on the economy . It is a space for a substantive exchange of opinions for business leaders, analysts, decision-makers and people who actually shape the economic environment. It is even more reliable reports, in-depth analyses, inspiring debates and valuable interviews.
We draw on the experience of the PTWP Group - strong industry portals, excellent journalists, the WNP Economic Trends team and presence at key economic events in Poland. Thanks to the synergy of these elements, WNP Economic Trends also provides a substantive background for such initiatives as the European Economic Congress or EEC Trends - said Dominika Sikora, editor-in-chief of WNP Economic Trends.
WNP and WNP Economic Trends are key products in our business portfolio. In the world of fake news, huge polarization and communication noise, specialized, quality journalism plays a significant role. And this is our place on the market - Paulina Gumowska, deputy publishing director at the PTWP Group, summed up the changes.
The WNP portal is visited by over 5 million users per month (according to Mediapanel Gemius research data from March 2025).
The daily WNP newsletter is received by 70,000 people, and push messages by 480,000 .
PTWP Group portals are visited by 27 million readers each month.
