Candidate who campaigned on pork rinds won the judicial election

Succulent Court.- The Supreme Court justice candidate who campaigned on pork rinds won last Sunday's judicial election, and it looks like he'll have to wear a bib over his robe.

This is Arístides Rodrigo Guerrero García, who went viral at the start of the campaign for a spot in which he compared himself to a pork rind as the ultimate candidate for a seat on the Supreme Court.

The candidate known as “Juzez Chicharrón” will be Minister of the Court

“Look, teacher, this pork rind looks like you,” a young woman told the candidate in a clip with little or no production.

“Why, because it’s tasty?” asked another kid, who can already rule out a career as an actor.

“No, because he’s ready!” replied the girl with the outdated analogies.

After such a dialogue that could easily have been used in a Tarantino movie, Arístides himself concluded: "I'm more prepared than a pork rind to be a Minister of the Supreme Court..."

“I have a doctorate, two master's degrees, a specialty in constitutional law…” the subject added, without ever letting go of the sandwich.

His tremendous campaign earned him one of the nine candidates with the most votes to join the new Court, according to the initial voting results released by the INE.

According to the vote count, "Judge Chicharrón," as he is now known, received more than 2.7 million votes, placing him in ninth place.
