Motorcyclist hospitalized after crashing into a CFE pole in Tixkokob

TIXKOKOB.- A motorcyclist ended up in the hospital after losing control of his vehicle while dozing, causing him to crash into a concrete pole belonging to the Federal Electricity Commission.

The incident occurred on 24th Street between 25th and 27th in Tixkokob, when the driver of the green and black Italika motorcycle, identified as Gilberto Á. L., 54 years old, apparently dozed off and lost control of his vehicle.

Paramedics from the Tixkokob Public Safety Department arrived at the scene, assessed the injured man, and transported him to a hospital in Mérida.

Municipal Police officers also arrived to carry out the necessary procedures to determine responsibility.
