Three Guinness records broken at mega disco event in Nuevo León

In an event driven by entrepreneurs, local businesses, and authorities, this Saturday "La Discada Récord" broke three Guinness records: the largest stir-fry , the largest frying pan, and the largest number of tacos served in one hour in the world.

The gastronomic event took place in the municipality of Guadalupe, Nuevo León, where residents were invited to an event featuring, in addition to food, live music and activities for the public.

The Guinness Book of World Records certifier noted that this is the first time she has been called upon to evaluate three record attempts in a single event in a single day.

After the deliberations, with a 7.3-meter diameter disc , the first Guinness record of the night was achieved, that of the world's largest frying pan, beating the previous record of 6.72 meters.

Later, a mega discada was prepared on the previous disc that served to break the second record of the night, the largest stir-fry in the world, weighing two tons 509 kilograms, which was above the previous record of one ton 818 kilograms.

To top it all off, the Guinness World Record for most tacos served in an hour was also achieved, with 13,215, surpassing the 8,450 achieved just last year in Mexico City.
