Trump's name was hidden in Epstein files, Richard Durbin claims
The controversy surrounding the cover-up of the Jeffrey Epstein case continues to grow. A U.S. congressman alleged that the FBI was pressured to identify and flag any documents mentioning U.S. President Donald Trump .
According to CNBC , nearly 1,000 agents were assigned to review more than 100,000 files related to Epstein, with the goal of releasing only a limited sample in a short period of time.

According to CNBC , around 1,000 FBI personnel were hired to review approximately 100,000 documents linked to Epstein, with the goal of releasing a limited sample in a short period of time and flagging any records that mention Donald Trump.
“According to information my office received, the FBI was pressured to assign approximately 1,000 individuals (...) My office was informed that these personnel were instructed to flag any records in which President Trump was mentioned,” the Democrat said.
Richard Durbin, a Democratic senator from Illinois since 1997 , is a key figure in the U.S. Congress. He chairs the Senate Judiciary Committee and authored the DREAM Act, a groundbreaking initiative to regularize young migrants. He also serves as the deputy leader of the Democratic majority in the Senate.
Furthermore, The Wall Street Journal recently revealed that Donald Trump sent a supposedly flirtatious letter for the magnate's 50th birthday . The message included the silhouette of a naked woman and concluded with the phrase: "Happy birthday, and may each day be another wonderful secret."
