Trump denies letter with graphic drawing sent to Epstein on his birthday

Days after the official closure of the Jeffrey Epstein case, The Wall Street Journal sparked controversy by revealing the contents of an alleged letter sent by Donald Trump to the businessman.

The document reportedly included an explicit drawing and an intimate message. The former president denied its authenticity, accused the media of spreading a "Democratic scam," and announced legal action.

The Wall Street Journal published an article titled “Jeffrey Epstein’s Friends Sent Him Racy Letters for a 50th Birthday Album. One Was from Donald Trump.” This comes days after the government closed the Jeffrey Epstein case.

"Happy birthday, and may each day be another wonderful secret , " concludes the alleged letter, which includes a drawing of a nude woman's silhouette and the president's signature. The American newspaper described the contents, but did not publish an image to fully show the letter.

When Donald Trump was asked about the letter's existence two days before it was published, the president denied having written or drawn anything like it. Given the controversy surrounding its release, the president vowed to move forward with a lawsuit, as he has done in the past with other media outlets.

"The Wall Street Journal and Rupert Murdoch, personally, were warned directly by President Donald J. Trump that the alleged letter they published from Trump to Epstein was FALSE and that if they published it, they would be sued," the president wrote on social media.

Donald Trump called the so-called "Jeffrey Epstein hoax" a new Democratic scam and lamented the fact that his former supporters believed it. He stated that he finds the case "sordid, but boring."
