The United Kingdom allocates 210 million euros to defense spending

The British government announced this Sunday that it plans to allocate approximately €210 million to the construction of five military technical schools to provide "defense training" to hundreds of workers and foster military innovation.
The plan outlined by authorities seeks to train more submarine engineers, cyberwarfare specialists, and welders , although the program will also fund thousands of courses for military industry companies in an attempt to improve the skills of existing personnel, according to information reported by Bloomberg.
"This is the largest defense training scheme in decades," Defense Secretary John Healey said in a statement. "It is British workers who have given British businesses the competitive advantage in defense innovation and the defense industry," he added.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer's government is expected to present its defense industrial strategy this Monday. Starmer has placed defense investment at the heart of his plan to increase military spending to 3.5 percent of GDP by 2035.
In this regard, the Cabinet overhaul announced Friday aims to boost growth and reap the economic benefits of increased military spending.
