A Polish company will test autonomous transport in India. This could revolutionize logistics.

Our company partners with DP World, a global leader in intelligent supply chain solutions, and Deendayal Port Authority, an Indian port operator, which will enable testing of this technology at its terminal in Kandla.
This initiative represents a significant step towards building faster, more efficient and sustainable port-to-land connections and is in line with India's logistics policy and PM Gati Shakti programme, which aims to modernise and integrate the country's logistics infrastructure.
The agreement outlines the framework for a 750-meter MagRail technology pilot project at Deendayal Port. This first-of-its-kind project in India will demonstrate autonomous cargo transportation in real-world port conditions.
It aims to develop and implement solutions based on MagRail technology that will enable automated transport of electric wagons using linear motors on existing railway tracks , increasing the capacity, efficiency and speed of container and bulk cargo transport, while reducing costs and CO2 emissions.
“We are proud to be part of this innovative initiative at Deendayal Port to showcase the true potential of MagRail in increasing the efficiency, capacity and flexibility of freight transport,” said Przemek Pączek, CEO of Nevomo.
Nevomo is a Polish-based high-tech company with roots in the hyperloop industry. Nevomo has developed the MagRail solution, which significantly increases the capacity, throughput, and efficiency of existing rail networks by combining traditional rail systems with next-generation technology.
