Last days to apply for the Polo TIC Mendoza Awards

The Mendoza ICT Hub is preparing to close the call for entries for its Technological Innovation Awards , an initiative that recognizes those who are transforming the province through technology. Registration will be open until October 31st , and companies, institutions, teams, and entrepreneurs linked to the local ICT ecosystem are eligible to participate.

This initiative seeks to highlight projects and careers that combine creativity, social impact, and a commitment to sustainable development. In this 2025 edition, applications can be submitted in four categories :

• Innovation in the Public Sector , for initiatives that improve state management or services to citizens.
• Private Company with the Greatest Impact on the Technological Ecosystem of Mendoza , focused on organizations that generate innovation, investment or quality employment.
• Innovation in the Academic Field , aimed at teachers, researchers or institutions that promote technological linkage and young talent.
• Trajectory in Technological Innovation , an honorary recognition for those who have contributed in a sustained way to the development of the sector.

For Alberto Aguiló , vice president representing the private sector of the Mendoza ICT Hub, these awards are fundamental to showcasing local talent:

“These kinds of awards often allow companies with fantastic, innovative solutions in the province to gain recognition. That's why these types of awards are so important for the development of the ecosystem, so that companies can raise their profile, appear in the press, and be featured in various media outlets. It's a way to encourage more companies, academic institutions, and even the public sector to participate.”

For her part, Emilce Vega Espinoza , director of the Mendoza ICT Hub, highlighted the spirit that drives the initiative:

“The Polo TIC Mendoza Awards not only recognize innovation: they celebrate the commitment of those who are growing the sector in our province. At the Polo, we are promoting this initiative as part of a broader strategy to strengthen the technology ecosystem, showcase local talent, and consolidate partnerships that generate real impact in the region. We believe in technology that transforms, connects people, and builds the future through technology and collaboration.”

Applications are submitted digitally by completing the form available at this link . Each participant must include a brief project description and a video or presentation of up to five minutes.

An interdisciplinary jury made up of leading figures from the technological, academic, business and public sectors will be responsible for evaluating the proposals according to criteria of innovation, impact, sustainability and viability .

After an initial selection, the finalist projects will be submitted to a vote by the partners of the Polo TIC Mendoza, through a supervised digital system.

The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 13th at Bodega Chandon , and will bring together the finalists, the jury and the entire Mendoza technology community to celebrate the ideas that are building the future of the province.
