The social network TikTok, one of the five most used platforms in the world, announced this Wednesday new security tools aimed at strengthening the protection of minors. Among the new features is the activation of automatic notifications for parents whenever their children post a video, photo, or story visible to other users.

TikTok stated that teen accounts have more than 50 settings designed to enable creativity and safe interaction. The goal is for users to express themselves and learn in a safe environment.
Family Sync and New Settings New features include a "family sync" option, which allows parents to customize the content recommendations their children receive, identifying the topics and creators they're most interested in. They'll also have the option to block accounts, which will then lose the ability to interact with their children.
