Floirac (33): young people defile the municipal swimming pool in the middle of the night, the town hall files a complaint

According to Le Figaro, the town of Floirac (Gironde) was forced to close its municipal swimming pool on Monday, August 4, after a group of youths broke into it at night, caused damage, and "defecated in the pools" before fleeing. The pool, which is mainly open-air, reopened on Tuesday after cleaning in accordance with health protocols. The town hall indicated that a complaint will be filed, as it is after every nighttime intrusion. Le Figaro points out that similar incidents were reported in Spain last month, where more than fifty pools were closed due to voluntary defecation, with some media outlets referring to a "viral challenge" amplified by TikTok.
