He was in possession of bags of cocaine: at Plages Electros, a man arrested for insults and rebellion

The Cannes Electro Beaches had a rather quiet first evening for the 2025 edition of this successful Festival.

But while the open-air nightclubbers were able to sway their hips to the rhythms of Kungs and other Tiëstos, sometimes in skimpy, even beachwear, outfits, the event also attracted its usual share of troublemakers, whose intentions and consumption were not always clean.

Deployed among the crowd in uniform or civilian clothes, the police officers checked around fifteen people who were clearly drug users. One man in particular was arrested and taken into custody for contempt and rebellion, while he was in possession of bags of cocaine.

Beware of tearing off necklaces!

Furthermore, several festival-goers complained of having their necklaces ripped off from behind during the big electro mass, "because specialist teams always prowl this type of gathering," warns an agent.

So be careful, and we cannot advise electro fans not to wear expensive, ostentatious jewelry when dancing on the beaches...
