Montpellier (34): two Algerians under OQTF arrested and imprisoned after the violent theft of a gold bracelet from a 19-year-old holidaymaker
Two Algerian men, aged 35 and 39, in an irregular situation and under an OQTF (Order of Foreign Nationals) order, were arrested during the night of August 9-10 in Montpellier, suspected of assaulting a 19-year-old holidaymaker to steal his gold bracelet. Identified through their description, they were remanded in custody and will be tried this Wednesday in immediate appearance.
As he was walking quietly along the sidewalk, two individuals on a scooter stopped behind him. The passenger, still wearing a helmet, approached him, provoking him and landing a few gratuitous blows to his chest before violently snatching the gold bracelet he was wearing from his wrist.
