Idron: the boiler at the Platanes school replaced to save energy

The €50,000 project was awarded to Bergeret. By the end of October, the boiler room will be equipped with two Viessmann 80 kW boilers to increase power. In addition, the valves, pumps, and electrical system will be replaced, and the system and radiators will be de-smoked.

Boilers meeting the new standards will enable substantial energy savings. The old one, dating back around thirty years, no longer met the requirements. "This work is essential for energy savings and comfort for the children," says Christian Ithurriague, deputy for works. "Maintaining the municipal heritage is essential, as is the renovation of the sports complex, which is progressing rapidly."
