May 1st: The left attempts to show its unity in Dunkirk

Another step towards a union of the left without La France Insoumise for the 2027 presidential election? On Thursday, May 1, the main leaders of the Socialist Party and the Ecologists marched together in Dunkirk (Nord), without the rebellious leader who, himself, demonstrated in Paris . Marine Tondelier, the national secretary of the Ecologists, Boris Vallaud, Olivier Faure and Nicolas Mayer-Rossignol – the three candidates for the post of first secretary of the PS –, and personalities such as François Ruffin, thus attempted to form a united front on this emblematic issue, by coming to support the employees and unions of the ArcelorMittal company , where 636 job cuts have been announced.
