Altamura, 25-year-old disappears: found during the night trapped in brambles near the Pulo

The search for a twenty-five-year-old man who had been missing since yesterday evening has come to a happy conclusion. The alarm was raised around 11:00 PM, when the Altamura Carabinieri requested the intervention of the Fire Department to begin the search.

Two teams from the Bari Command, coordinated by Inspector Gianni Ostuni of the Co.Em. (Emergency Communications) office, immediately took action, supported by the special SAPR unit using drones, Alpine Rescue personnel, and Carabinieri officers.

After hours of intense work, around 2:40 a.m., the young man was located in a confused state about two meters below street level, trapped in brambles in a particularly inaccessible area near the Altamura area. Fortunately, his health immediately appeared to be good.

Once recovered, the boy was entrusted to the care of 118 personnel for medical checks.
