Fears erupted at dawn in Ischia Ponte: a car with five young people on board overturned, but no one was injured.

There were moments of fear at dawn this morning in Ischia Ponte, where a Volkswagen with five young people aboard overturned on Via Giovan Battista Vico, shortly after the La Virgola pub. The accident caused no injuries: all the vehicle's occupants escaped unharmed, visibly shaken but unharmed.

The exact cause and circumstances of the crash are still unclear. According to initial reconstructions, the teens were returning from a night out when—presumably due to a reckless maneuver—the driver lost control of the car, which overturned on the narrow, single-lane road.

The Carabinieri were on site to carry out surveys and manage traffic, along with an ACI vehicle equipped with a crane to remove the vehicle.
